Bay of Plenty Polytechnic - Student Ball 2010

Muzic, Masti, Dance and Friendz......................

What an amazing night it was, i've been waiting for a long to attend a party like this, always heard about college fresher's party, my friends say, they are just awesome. One of the most memorable part of the college, and yeah, finally, i had the opportunity.

Thankz, to the Student Worx, who arranged a grand Dance floor and DJ for us.

The Student Worx, asked all the students from India to perform a group dance on any of the India Song, but we chose a mixture of languages. We chose the songs " Vastava Vastava" ( a telgu song), " Dhaga La Lagli Kada" ( a marathi song) and " A Ganpat Baja Na" ( a hindi Song). And, believe me, when we were performing, the whole crowd surrounded us and danced to the Indian tunes. Even the DJ played some Indian Hits.

McLaren Falls !!!

Thanks to Sumati Didi, if it was not her, we would have not been to this beautiful place.

McLaren Falls is really and awesome place to go, not more than a 20 min drive from Tauranga, the drive to to the falls was awesome, with hills and heaven lot of greenery. As we were just about to reach the falls, the vistas we were going through were breathtaking green and awesome, the trees, it seemed as if we were going through an evergreen decidious forest.

As we reached the falls, the view was really awesome, the place is not at all big, there is a one way brige over the falls. the fall is not that huge but it has a tremendous force and the water is really cool. First we all guys, clicked some pics near the road with the waterfall in background, but then our Devil minds decided to go below near the falls, Wow, that was an amazing experience, the tremendous amount of energy potential energy being converted into kinetic energy could be felt. we stood near a rock just an inch away from the trashing water, and as we were standing there the chill milky white water was hitting us and making us wet. And, the best thing was, we were at the falls and there was water everywhere, water was falling and water was raining !!!!!!! yeah ! it was raining, but still we enjoyed the falls.

This was really an awesome trip !!!!!!!!!!

Half way up ^ to Mt. Maunganui !!!

3 AM in the morning, Aj, Aditya and Me, were sitting in the living room, discussing about our some good memories..... it was a good talk, and then the time passed and we got lost in the pages of golden bollywood songs, songs from the movies such as Aankhein, raja hindustani, etc..... Actually, we were to go on a field trip, but because of some reason the guy who was supposed to take us to the field did not show up.

6:30 Am in the morning, all guys ready with their eyes half open, to got to the fields, but suddenly that guy calls and says " sorry, guys we cannot go to the field today ." , this was a moment when all of us except a few, closed even the half open eyes and fell asleep, it was only Aj, Swapnil and Me who were still wide awake like nocturnals.

The clock struck 8:30 Am and Abhishek bhaiya was here, we had a cup of coffee and biscuits and then suddenly someone said let's go to Mt.Maunganui and everyone got ready, we started checking out the bus time-table . we came to know about a bus at 8:55 Am, and the clock was striking 8:50 AM, wee all rushed, put on our bots and guys who were wearing their PJ's came as they were. We just stepped out of the rooms and guess what, the Yellow Big Box on wheels vanished right in front of our eyes !!! SHIT !!! and then we had to wait for next may be 30 min at the bus stop. Finally, we got a bus, we reached the city center and then again we had to wait for the next bus, goddamn !!! the bus was not showing up, and we all were damn sleepy, i even slept sitting on that bench !!! i don't even remember when the bus came, when i sat in it !! but, then minutes later i opened my eyes and saw the beautiful piece of bulged land covered with greenery ( Mt. Maunganui ) standing in front of me. We were so overjoyed, that finally the dreams that we were seeing from last couple of weeks were coming true !!

What a splendid view, it was from the beach. the glass green water with the reflection of mist blue sky, white boats waving and the waves crashing by !!! we walked, clicked some snaps and finally we were at the foot of the mountain. We saw a board saying " Way to Summit". but, we ignored and decided to take the zig-zag way, we started climbing the steep slope of the mount, with slips and ouchs' we managed to reach the first phase, and and a view , on ur left hand you see th endless ocean, far away the horizon kissing the watery lips of the ocean, on your right side the view of the whols city with the backdrop of foggy Kaimai hills and behind you, rest of the mount standing proudly and right in front of you the view of the city, the beach and the people. with every phase we conquered, the view became more and more beautiful.. and finally the last phase of the half mount, steep slope with thorny bushes and damp land, we all succeeded to reach the railings to take support but Abhishek bhaiya had a small slip and it took our breath away !! but thank god, he managed to come over and take hold of the railings and finally we were to the other side of the mount..... what a relief it was seeing the flat green bed.. this was the most awesome bed i've ever seen, we all lay down ourselves and took breath and had rest..... and then finally it was time for us to get down .. and finally we came down again and then went to Burger King to make the wrestling animals in our tummy calm, had a burger, cold drink and then caught a bus and back home !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an experience it was, we are going back to the Mount to conquer the summit next week, be in touch for next blogpost and amazing pics......

My Birthday !!!!!!!!

Yippieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.. i am 19 started 20 :)

18th August 1991, was the day when I came in this world, and in my early days, I never even imagined that few years from I will be sitting in my computer lab in an International University in New Zealand and writing this blog. This year I completed my 19 years and now its 20 running!! Believe me this was the most memorable birthday celebration of my life, tough last year when my b'day was celebrated in my office was a memorable one, but this was just awesome, I had friends from Estonia, America, New Zealand and of course India... I really had a bash... we started partying hard with muzic and one of us standing near the switch-board switching the bulbs ON & OFF, so that there is a disco light effect... it was really fun.... MUZIC, MASTI, BOOZING and Wooooooooo.... I guess each of my friend enjoyed my b'day celebration, and I really thank them to celebrate my b'day with such a BOOM....... but away from home somewhere in my heart, I was missing my family, my friends there in India and the very special girl... MY LOVE, MY LIFE. On , this special day I really missed her a lot, may be more than my family and friends, coz I really wanted to be there holding her hands and looking into her eyes and telling her how much I love her... SORRY DEAR!!!! I was not there with you on my special day!!! but, she did not leave me alone, she was there with me all the time, she was the one who wished me first, she spent the whole day with me, making me realize though we are physically apart but our hearts are besides each other hugging each other tightly... hmmm and my all friends, thank you guys for wishing me !!!! THANK YOU mates, if you all were not there, my b'day would have never been so special...

Anniversary........

10th June 2010, I will never forget this date..... 2 months ago, on this date, a special person entered my life, and she really made my life so special... I LOVE YOU - my "GOLU MOLU"... yeah, i call her "Golu Molu"...

I miss her a lot, the ride, the way she looked at me, the way she reacted when i used to adjust the mirror of my bike to see her......

Miss You

I always wonder, why do couples that are really in love have to walk through a bridge of pain at the starting stages of their love...... I always waited for the special person to enter into my life, and make my life beautiful. She was always there in my life, there was love for her in me, but i never realised, 14 years past and now when i realised and told her about my love for her, she accepted it... 10th June 2010 was that special day !!! we enjoyed together 34 days of happiness, in 34 days we were so deeply in love that it seemed that we were loving each other from centuries. 34th day was the most memorable day, we went to watch a movie, she was holding my hand so tightly, she did not wanted to leave me, and i was just staring at her beautiful face, i wanted to capture her in my eyes, coz i was not going to see her for next two years.... I love her a lot !!! and look what god has done, actually not him, but i chose this path... I went away from her, left her alone, and now i am miles away from her here in New Zealand and she is there in India.. but still our hearts are holding each other and they are looking into each other !!!!! coz bodies can go apart but not the hearts... I Miss You my " GOLU MOLU " . . LOVE YOU A LOT !!!!!!

Mt. Maunganui

It is really bad, when u plan something out and you are unable to complete it. Last two weeks we all guys are planning to go for trekking on Mt. Maunganui, which is around 15 Kms away from our place, but every time we plan, it gets ruined, sometimes by rain or sometime our mood, today we decided, whatever it takes we are gonna make it. But today the bus was not in our favour, we missed the last bus going to the Mount...... hope, next week it doesn't rain, so that we can go conquer the Mount.

Ski Trip
